FW05 Poem jeans have shredded fronts over text panels or red inserts. An archive pair combines a double DG waist with flap cargo pockets; others are paint-splattered, pieced together from off-white patches, printed with the DG monogram all over or cut slim in stretch denim. Denim also comes as a light blue SS2005 bomber with a large embroidered back logo and a women's multi-zip vest. More in Jeans and Denim.

Prints, velour and knits

The prints include a Sicilia shirt covered in swordfish on a blue ground and a La Sicile tee inspired by antique maps. Film graphics mark the AW09 Scarface hoodie in white and a Tony Montana long sleeve tee. Velour comes as zip and pullover hoodies and a women's hoodie dress; the knits include a green V-neck with a big D&G logo panel and a hooded plaid patchwork cardigan. What was the D&G line?

D&G was the younger, more casual second line of Dolce & Gabbana, the Milan house Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana founded in 1985. It ran beside the main collection until the early 2010s, when it was folded back in. Several of the logo jeans and graphic tees here are D&G.

Where does the branding show beyond the prints?

On the hardware: D&G-engraved snaps on a leather moto jacket, D&G metal tips on hoodie drawstrings, logo buttons on the patchwork cardigan, and branded buttons and leather patches on the jeans. Our team inspects these, along with labels, stitching and materials, in-house before listing.
