Vintage & Pre-Owned Condition
All items in our store are vintage, pre-owned, deadstock, archival, or second-hand pieces. Many items may be 10,20, 30, 40+ years old. Because of their age and previous history, they should not be expected to be in brand-new condition unless clearly stated.
Normal signs of age, storage, handling, and previous use may include, but are not limited to:
- light scratches;
- small marks;
- natural fabric wear;
- minor fading;
- slight discoloration;
- small pulls or loose threads;
- light oxidation on hardware;
- minor lens scratches on sunglasses or optical frames;
- natural leather aging;
- small imperfections from storage;
- slight loss of shape;
- vintage smell;
- small repairs or signs of previous care.
These characteristics are considered normal for vintage and pre-owned items and are not considered defects unless the item was clearly misrepresented.
Product Photos & Color Disclaimer
We take professional photos using studio lighting, softboxes, light cubes, professional cameras, and controlled lighting setups. These photos are intended to show the item as clearly and accurately as possible.
However, colors, shades, lens tints, fabric tones, and textures may appear slightly different in person due to:
- lighting conditions;
- studio light reflection;
- camera settings;
- screen brightness;
- phone/computer display settings;
- natural sunlight vs indoor lighting;
- lens transparency and reflective coating;
- angle of view;
- material age and texture.
For sunglasses and lenses, tint may look lighter, darker, more blue, more grey, more brown, or more reflective depending on lighting and angle. This is normal and not considered a defect.
By purchasing, the buyer accepts that slight color, shade, and tone differences between photos and the physical item are possible.
Measurements & Fit
All measurements are taken by hand and may have a small tolerance of approximately 1–2 cm. Vintage sizing may differ from modern sizing. The buyer is responsible for checking the listed measurements before purchase.
Returns due to fit, personal preference, or expectation of a different look are treated as buyer’s remorse.
Returns
Returns may be accepted only according to our return policy and within the stated return window.
To be eligible for a return:
- the buyer must contact us before sending the item back;
- the item must be returned in the exact same condition as received;
- all original tags, packaging, cases, accessories, and included items must be returned;
- the item must not be worn, used, washed, altered, damaged, cleaned, repaired, or exposed to perfume, smoke, moisture, or any other odor;
- sunglasses, eyewear, accessories, and clothing must be packed safely to avoid damage during return shipping.
If the returned item arrives damaged, used, incomplete, altered, or in worse condition than it was sent, we reserve the right to refuse the return or deduct the loss in value from the refund.
Return Shipping
Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility unless the item was significantly misdescribed or the wrong item was sent.
The buyer is responsible for:
- return shipping costs;
- safe packaging;
- tracking number;
- insurance if needed;
- customs forms;
- any loss or damage during return transit.
We are not responsible for returned parcels lost, delayed, damaged, or refused by customs.
Original Shipping, Duties & Taxes
Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
Import duties, VAT, customs fees, brokerage fees, taxes, and any local charges paid by the buyer are the buyer’s responsibility and are not collected by us. These charges are non-refundable by our store.
For international orders, the buyer is responsible for understanding their country’s import rules before purchasing.
Partial Refunds
We do not provide partial refunds for subjective reasons, including but not limited to:
- color appears different in person;
- lens tint appears darker/lighter;
- item does not fit;
- buyer changed their mind;
- item does not match buyer’s personal expectations;
- normal vintage wear;
- minor age-related imperfections shown or consistent with vintage condition.
Any discount or partial refund offered by us is a goodwill gesture only and does not mean the item was defective or misdescribed.
