Designer Hats, Caps & Beanies

21 pieces

21 available

Caps, bucket hats, knit beanies and a wide-brim felt hat make up the designer headwear here, pre-owned and occasionally vintage. Prada supplies the most pieces, followed by Burberry and Loro Piana, and Italy is the usual country of make.

More about Hats

Caps and bucket hats

The vintage Prada baseball caps are black nylon with an embroidered logo or a tonal plaque, adjusted by a leather strap and metal buckle. Burberry London contributes a Nova Check cotton cap from England, while the Italian caps in technical fabric include a water-repellent navy Brunello Cucinelli and a brown Loro Piana Storm System with an elastic back. Bucket hats run from Prada red-tab cargo styles in quilted, padded nylon to a reversible Burberry, check on one side and plain beige on the other, a vintage Christian Dior monogram hat made in France and a Missoni logo-print cotton hat.

Beanies and winter hats

Ribbed beanies in pure cashmere come from Brunello Cucinelli and Loro Piana, and Moncler adds a wool-cashmere cable knit with a leather logo patch. Red-tab Prada Linea Rossa beanies are knitted in wool, and further knits come from Acne Studios, Fendi (with a matching FF scarf) and vintage Vivienne Westwood, a fuzzy patterned beanie made in Japan. Brimmed felt comes from Loro Piana, a wide-brim hat in hare fur and cashmere, and Nike ACG adds a fleece-lined ear-flap hat in lamb leather. Scarves and sunglasses sit under Accessories.

FAQ

Are the hats one size?

Most beanies and bucket hats are listed as One Size. Most caps, and the felt hat, take a letter size, S to L, instead, and the description notes how a cap adjusts, by strap or elastic back.

Vintage nylon cap: what deserves a close look?

The logo comes first: dense, even embroidery or a firmly fixed plaque. Then the brim for creases or a warped curve, the sweatband for staining and the strap for cracks. Before a cap is listed, our authenticity team goes over its labels, stitching, hardware and materials in-house.

Cashmere or wool: which beanie to choose?

Cashmere is finer, lighter and softer than sheep’s wool but pills more easily. Wool, as in the Prada and Acne Studios beanies, is harder-wearing and holds a rib well; the Moncler blend sits in between. Each beanie listing states its fiber content.
