Stone Island was founded in Italy in 1982 by Massimo Osti, and its product names usually point to the fabric or treatment. Here that means padded vests in Pertex Quantum Y, a down jacket in garment-dyed Crinkle Reps nylon and a gray cargo sweatshirt in Tela Placata with buttoned flap pockets.
