The NikeLab years

Between 2014 and 2018 the line ran as NikeLab ACG, designed by Errolson Hugh of Acronym, and most of our NikeLab pieces come from its SS18 season. The woven multi-pocket cargo trousers, some listed as Ninja pants, come in black, olive and teal blue: a cotton-polyester weave with a little elastane, cargo pockets closed with zips and flaps, a belt built into the waistband, and articulated or reinforced knees. From Hugh's tenure there are also navy tech fleece track pants and a gray crew sweatshirt with paneling. More trousers are in Pants and Sweatpants & Joggers.

Shells, down and warm-weather kit

Against the weather: a black hooded softshell in fleece-backed polyester with snap pockets, and a goose down parka, model AQ3517-100, with a speckled shell, neon logos, vertical zip chest pockets and inner carry straps; both sit in Jackets. Women's ski trousers come in pink, built as outer shells: a cargo pair in pink-and-red tie-dye with zip vents, and a paler pink pair with built-in snow gaiters. Rounding it out are orange nylon trail shorts, sand-colored tech cargos with a D-ring, and a white lamb-leather cap with a shearling-style lining and ear flaps that fasten with snaps.

FAQ

What does ACG stand for?

All Conditions Gear, Nike's outdoor range; here that means shell fabrics, zip vents, snow gaiters and built-in belts. Nike pieces outside the line are on the main Nike page.

What does SS18 in a title tell me?

Spring/summer 2018, the last year of the NikeLab ACG period with Errolson Hugh. A season code dates a piece more closely than a style name.

Which details matter most on technical gear?

Zips and pulls, snaps and hook-and-loop tabs, drawcords, seams and, on down, how evenly the fill sits; the photos show their state. Our in-house team verifies labels, style codes, hardware and fabric for authenticity before a piece goes up.

Do ACG trousers use waist sizes?

Not here: the trousers and shorts are sized by letter, XS to XL. Tops and jackets add an EU range after the letter, L/52-54 for instance.
