Vintage & Pre-Owned Dior

64 pieces

Eyewear makes up most of our vintage and pre-owned Dior: shield, mask and aviator sunglasses, largely made in Italy, plus 1980s CD ski goggles. A smaller run of clothing and shoes spans the Galliano years, Dior Homme and later ready-to-wear.

More about Dior

Dior eras, piece by piece

Dior opened in Paris in 1946; many titles name the later chapter a piece belongs to.

  • 1980s: CD ski goggles on an adjustable strap, with removable colored frames and a Christian Dior pouch.
  • John Galliano, 1996–2011: black canvas pumps with a logo buckle, a pink floral zip jacket with a hood, and Dior Sport 1 and Starlight sunglasses.
  • Dior Homme: a black wool blazer from 2006, SS2010 patent leather sneakers with an engraved lace keeper, and Hardior mask sunglasses.
  • Raf Simons, 2012–2015: Audacieuse 1 cat-eye frames.
  • FW18/19: a blazer in blue-and-white Toile de Jouy cotton, made in France.

Frames, and the clothes around them

Shapes run from the openwork Diorissimo 1 and the crystal-trimmed Strassy 1 and Hard Dior 1 to the rimless Bowling/L with its etched lens, the Bike 4 wrap with its old-style DIOR logo, and the KaleiDiorscopic visor. Other houses' frames are in sunglasses, and older Dior pairs also appear in Vintage.

Beyond eyewear, most pieces are women’s and are listed in For her. Several were made in France: jeans in pink jacquard, a Boutique Paris camisole with an embroidered flower and a striped monogram bucket hat.

FAQ

What model names do Dior frames use?

A word and a number rather than a bare code: Diorissimo 1, Hard Dior 1, Bike 4. That name is usually printed inside a temple next to the colorway code and the maker's country: Italy for most pairs, Austria for the Piccadilly 2, Gisele, Starlight and 2035/N. Our team matches these marks and the CD logos to the model in-house.

What is Dior Homme?

The name of Dior's menswear line. Hedi Slimane designed it from 2000 to 2007, the years of the wool blazer; later pieces, like the SS2010 sneakers, kept the name.

Which pieces use the Oblique monogram?

Oblique is Dior's all-over pattern of the Christian Dior name set on a slant. It forms the black canvas of the Galliano-era pumps and the pink jacquard of the jeans, and runs under the floral print of the pink jacket.
